What Could Cause Random Development Of Red Round Areas With Clear Center And Flu Like Symptoms?

I have been getting red round areas..usually only one at a time sporadically the past couple of years that seem to last about 3-4 months. I have had 2 on my left shoulder 2 years apart though . They are red raised with clear centers and are warm and painful. I have one about 2cm x 3cm on top of my breast now and one on my right upper torso. I have looked at pictures of ringworm and lyme disease and they kind of look like both but not exactly. I bathe daily and shampoo my hair and have good hygiene. I do have Grave's disease but not sure if this has anything to do with it. I also have flu like symptoms several times a month that last 2 - 3 days. I do not have insurance so going to my doctor is not an option at this time. Is there a reliable site that i can look at pictures of rashes ? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM.

I could keep a possibility of Erythema Multiforme Minor.

They are commonly seen on trunk and extremities and appear as red raised annular or circular plaques with a central pale area (wheal). It can be recurrent and is possibly mediated by deposition of immune complex in the superficial microvasculature of the skin and sometimes mucosa, that usually follows an infection or drug exposure.

I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmation OR you can also post me a direct query on this forum along with a picture of the lesion, by clicking on the url http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-kakkar/66939

take care
