What Could Cause Recurrent Fainting On Accidental Hurting Of Bones/joints?
I hit my knee a couple of weeks ago playing with my son and passed out! It felt like i hit my funny bone. I just thought i hit it to hard. Then a few days later i hit my heel on the chair at my house and passed out. Well i was like whats wrong. I rubbed it off and kept going...Till this morning i hit my ancle and passed out.. What could it be??
I would explain that this is an overreaction to the pain. You should know that this is a physiological reaction, which is related to the activation of the vagal nerve due to a strong pain. It is more prominent in sensitive persons. But, this does not mean that something serious is going on. Try to relax and don't worry about it!
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
