What Could Cause Recurring Elevated Heart Rate, chest Constriction, pain In Ears, jaw, neck, While Being An Athlete?

Do I have asthma or anxiety? Hello, I am a 17 year old athlete. In the past year I have had reoccurring racing heart rate that I can hear in my ears and throat that is causing chest constriction and pain and serious difficulty breathing, coughing, and shallow breaths. Along with this I have pain in my ears, jaw, sides of neck and shoulders. Symptoms occur occasionally during practices consisting mainly of cardio. I am in shape and at a good weight for my age. Do I possibly have asthma or anxiety? Thanks.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi i read your query very carefully.

You should consult a cardiologist and run some examination in order to exclude cardiac problems.

I suggest to run:
- ECG
- ECHO
- Holter monitoring

If every thing ok than it's anxiety.

Hope it was of help!
