What Could Cause Red Purple Color Veins On The Inside Of Each Knee?

I have something that looks very similar to spider veins on both of my legs on the inside of each knee. Th eveins are a red-purple color and are not as small as spider veins but they also do not stick out above the skin like veracious veins. I also have a small amount of pain that is in the same area

Hi, what you describe are more like spider veins or Telangiectasias. If they do not bother you then you need not do anything. It is a common condition in light colored women. Otherwise, you can go for injection Sclerotherapy in which the put small injections into the veins and then it gets better. Do not worry, its a minor problem and dont waste your night sleep over it. You can see your Doctor who will be able to examine you and advice accordingly or you can see a Vascular Surgeon for the same. Take care,
