What Could Cause Severe Chills Despite Body Temperature Being Normal?

Hi my patner is frezzing cold but has normal tempruture he has had loads off layers on had four blankets over him and is still frezzing cold but as i mentionted his tempruture is normal what could it bé? He has also been out side with nothing on and dose not realise what he is doing he has not slept propaly for weeks he says he is frezzing cold when hes in the house but when he gose out side he says it feels like summer

HI Dear,
Bacteremia is one condition (infectious disease)there can be symptoms of altered sensorium, shaking, chillness
there are infections like Meningitis an acute inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord, known collectively as the meninges, sign symptoms include nuchal rigidity, sudden high fever, and altered mental status, or it could be encephalopathy, metabolic or hepatic. you need to take some test of your husband.
Delirium tremens is one condition where patient will have the above mentioned symptoms.
kindly see a neurologist or psychiatrist , they will need to do some head scan and blood test.
