What Could Cause Sharp Pain During Deep Breathing?

Hi, I have dull steady pain in my upper back/under right shoulder blade region that has gradually come on in the last week. Deep breaths cause a sharp pain but then it goes back to the dull pain after a minute or two. For the past week I have felt extremely exhausted, I have to force my body to move just to go to work and the back of my throat has been scratchy. Any ideas?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the pharyngitis, malaise, muscular pain, hence the back pain.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine hydrochloride, acyclophenac sodium, and paracetamol.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream, and the things allergic to you.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
