What Could Cause Sinus Infection?

I was just diagnosed with a sinus infection and ear infection - have had the symptoms for over a week. After finally visiting my dr and receiving diagnosis - I am now on augmentin. This morning when I woke up I had severe pressure and pain in the back of my head. Had not had this earlier or ever before. It s a more severe dizzy feeling - when I raise my head, when I blow my nose, when I lay my head back, the pain and pressure is horrible. Is this normal for a sinus infection? Or could something else be going on?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Yes , your symptoms are due to the sinus infection and the worsening is due to the increased infection and congestion. You may not be responding to augmentin and may need to change your antibiotics, please meet your ent doctor . He will examine you and guide you accordingly.

Take care!
