What Could Cause Sudden Ear Pain And Momentary Dizziness While Coughing Due To Bronchitis?

I have bronchitis and the horrible cough that comes with it. I had a bad coughing fit about an hour ago and suddenly ear pain, momentary dizziness and now a muffled sound of my heartbeat. That sound is keeping me awake. The pain is minimal unless I cough again. I will see my doctor tomorrow but did I puncture my eardrum? And if so anything I should do overnight? I have taken 4of the five day z-PAC antibiotics that were prescribed for the bronchitis. Will that help protect my ear from infection overnight?.

I really understand you problem but nothing to worry about this your ear drum is okay this is the very common condition, but will come around soon, while coughing take care not apply any extra force this could irreted the nerve which then cause the dizziness, you can try " Chlorpheniramine" tab three times in day with steam inhalation drink lot of water, will get alright soon, have nice day.
