What Could Cause Sudden, Sharp Pain Like Electric Shock In Front Of Right Ear With Ear Test Being Normal?

3 days ago I began having sudden, sharp pains like electric shocks just in front of my right ear. Now my jaw is quite achy but my teeth do not hurt, and are not affected by eating. Had my teeth cleaned only 2 months ago, and had xrays taken, nothing wrong. Thought it might be blocked up ear, so today had both ears rinsed out and doctor says it is not to do with my ears, so now tomorrow I have an appointment with my dentist. Really feel as if I had been slugged a week ago and it is still hurting, but nothing like that has happened. Never have felt like this before and my left side is just fine. Both wisdom teeth are gone on the left side, but both are still there on the right side. But they don't hurt. I am a 67 year old woman, in fairly good health and have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year, and brush carefully twice a day. Any ideas?

Hi!gone through your query.
sharp electric shock like pain without dental or ENT complaints suggests neuralgic pain. You did not write down how long this pain lasts in each episode. Rule out any dental issues.
check what triggers the episode each time.
hope this helps.
