What Could Cause Sudden Swelling Of Legs?
I am 63 yr old male. I had stent angioplasty done in Dec 2013. In Mar, I had duodenum ulcer due to strong dose of medicine. My hb level came to 8.1. I underwent endoscopy and doctor changed the medicines to lower dosage. but I have another side effect now. My legs (the feet0 are swollen. it increases during day but reduces considerably when I get up in morning . my current Hb in blood is 12.5. kindly advice

Lowe limb swelling could be due to low hemoglobin second it could be due to long time standing position, looking to the history of cardiac disease and the present complain of swelling of lower limb better to see the renal function, and hypertension such symptoms can not be neglected because 12.5 reading of hemoglobin may not manifest clinically, till then reduce the salt in diet, try to keep the leg in elevated position, hope this information helps.
