What Could Cause Swollen Clitoris, Bleeding Clots And Depression After Fitting Marina Coil?
I had the marina coil fitted 5weeks ago. No sign of bleeding stopping. Feeling very heavy below and slightly swollen. I lose penny size clots at least 4-5 times daily. I get mild cramps as well as headaches and dizziness, this never happened the first time I had the coil. I gave birth on the 12 January and only been blood free for about 3 weeks prior the foil fitting. I had a hard labour which resulted in a nasty tear. Also my colitis feels swollen all the time to the point of being uncomfortable. My mood swings are terrible feeling down most of the time. I think I may be having to much hormones put I my body as my health clinic also told me to carry on with the desorex pill till my 6week check up with the coil. I ve not had intercourse since my babies birth. Please help
It can be due to local reaction to the IUD. As of now you can take anti inflammatory drugs like Seratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. You can take analgesics like Mefenemic acid for pain relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult your gynaecologist and check whether the IUD is in place or not.
