What Could Cause Swollen Lymph Node In Neck Besides Cancer?
I have a swollen lymph node in my neck, I took 10 days of antibiotics and it hasn t gone down. My doctor is sending me for a biopsy. The surgeon she recommended is not in my plan and when I called her today to ask for another specialist, the other specialist cannot see me for two weeks. Are the other things that could be wrong besides cancer? I am having panic attacks many times a day over this and I don t think I can last two weeks waiting to see the doctor only to make another appt for the biopsy. I feel like going to the ER

We can't think of cancer. To me, it is a swollen lymph node due to possible ENT infection (angina, ear infection or even bad teeth). So should check all of them out to determine the right diagnosis.
