What Could Causes A Popping Sensation In Head Of A Person With Downs Syndrome?

Hello, my sister with Down syndrome lives with me - she is 58 years old and is in good health. in the past several months, she has been saying that her head just popped, and she points to the top of her head. She is usually a good historian when it comes to reporting pains or discomfort of any kind. I would appreciate any advice you can provide. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since having a problem for several months better go for MRI/CT brain.
She is Hypertensive or Diabetics on any medication.
Take her to an ophthalmologist for a check-up, some time refractive error may cause complains.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
