What Could Chronic Ovarian Pain Caused By Endometrial Thickening Indicate?

I am 32 years old with 2 children (youngest 6 months) - I've had had nagging pain over right ovary for 5 weeks now. Sometimes it's very mild, other times I need to take paracetmaol though it doesn't always help. I've had a scan and it showed a slightly thick endometrium. My doctor is not taking me seriously- he says it's just "everything getting back to normal after childbirth" but I'm worried it could be far more serious like Endometriosis or cancer. I've had no bleeding (other than normal periods)
