What Could Circular, Tender To Touch Bruise On Knee With Hard Bump In The Center Suggest?
I have a circlular bruise, I ve only noticed this bruise for about a week, don t recall bumping it! Only tender when I touch it. Located on the right, outside above the knee. Skin color in the middle and a hard pimple like bump in the center. no fevers or anything, it s getting better. Should I go see my doctor?
I am so sorry to hear about this bump. Though trauma is the most common cause of a bruise, some bruise do occur with minimal trauma that we are not aware of. Also, making the wrong turn with your knee can actually some bleeding. Because all seems to be getting better, there is just no need to rush to the hospital right now. If something else should come up or you develop another bruise without a clear reason why, please see medical attention.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
