What Could Clotty Bleeding With Sharp Pains Between Periods Indicate?
Hi my a name is quanta. I ve had my period on June 8-15th. A few days later it comes back on along with blood clots and my blood looking brown and red. This past Sunday it was showing that it was coming off bit the very next day it comes back on the same way with sharp pains. What is happening to my body?
It may be a case of Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding. In this condition vaginal bleeding to occur outside of the regular menstrual cycle.Main cause of dysfunctional uterine bleeding is an imbalance in the sex hormones. Girls experiencing puberty and women entering menopause can have imbalanced hormone levels for longer time. Certain medications like birth control pills also can cause this type of bleeding. For confirmation of this condition , you have to go through certain investigations like ultrasound, blood tests for hormonal level and if required endometrial biopsy. I recommend you to go to your gynecologist and confirm your diagnosis by above investigations. Take care.
