What Could Cold And Wet Ear Sensations Suggest?
For about a month now, I ve been experiencing a strange sensation in my left ear and temple area. I get a cold, wet feeling (like perspiration) in the ear and just outside it but nothing is there when I try to wipe away the perceived wetness. Sometime it actually feels like water is dripping in my ear but still, nothing is there. I went to an ear doctor who found nothing wrong in the ear. What could this be?

The feeling of water dripping in ear or wetness can be due to the following reasons:
- Psychologically if one feels some sensation like you are then it is difficult to treat such cases as your ENT Surgeon has said the ear is normal
- Eustachian tube dysfunction can cause such symptoms and nasal decongestant drops with anti-inflammatory and oral or topical steroid can help a lot
- Do not instil any ear drops as there is nothing in it
- Avoid stress and anxiety as these gives such sensations
