What Could Dark Blotches On Groin Area Suggest?

I am a 41 yr old male and noticed this morning that I have a number (4) are dark red/blue blotches about 1 inch across in my groin area. They do not hurt to the touch and are not raised in anyway. What could they be, they dont look heat rash related
