What Could Discolored Rash In Between The Breasts Indicate?
Hi there I am concerned about a small rash in between my breast more left side. It isn t raised - red to brown in colour with 2 other smaller ones round in shape. It is not itchy and appeared quite some time ago - never disappeared and never gets much bigger. Strange Should I be concerned? Thanks Elaine
Hello and welcome to healthcare Magic community ! From the info you have have provided so far , it appears that this may not be a serious disease , apart from the fact that it appeared quite sometime ago.Rash of this type is mostly Fungal , or due to local skin inflammation like eczema and dermatitis . If it appears slivery and raised could be psoriasis which , most likely it's not .In my clinic I usually provide a combination of a steroid and anti fungal in cream or ointment form to treat it . I will suggest that if this rash is expanding , along with pain and irritation you can visit your primary for a Clinical exam of breast ( CBE) along with general assessment , to see if you need the help of a dermatologist or otherwise . Hope I have answered your question . Please feel free to ask any follow up queries .
