What Could Dizziness Post Thyroid Removal Suggest?

Hdi, omaeys I tahnsywreohqs right now ? P type your query here...After I had my thyroid removed I have been experiencing alot of dizzyness to te point where I can't stand up at all and my legs and arms I get a tingling sensation and I can't move them at all and I also have alot of burping is this due to the surgery and what can I do? My doctor doesn't really do anything about this.

Hi

Apparently it seems that you have symptoms suggestive of low calcium or hypocalcemia. It is a known side effect of thyroidectomy. You should be properly evaluated for signs of hypocalcemia in clinic and then investigated further. If hypocalcemia is found, it needs to be treated accordingly.
