Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
This is not related to spinal disease or surgery. This is mostly due to meralgia parenthetica , a condition in which compression of lateral cutaneous nerve of thigh leads to pain and tingling and numbness over upper anterior aspect of thigh. I would advise EMG NCV of involved lateral cutaneous nerve to confirm diagnosis.start taking tab vitamin B12 plus pregabalin 75mg at bedtime for 10 days. If report comes abnormal please consult expert orthopaedic surgeon.
