What Could Extra Skin/ Tissue Between Teeth Could Be?

My daughter is almost 4 and last night I thought she had some food in between her teeth when I tried to remove it I noticed it was like a skin between her teeth which is easy to see. I would like to know what causes something like that. It does not hurt her but very visable.

Hello:)Welcome to HCM.

Your kid seems to be suffering a gingival inflammation. Gingiva is more also more visible during the falling of deciduous teeth.
I suggest you for a checkup with your dentist to rule out any infection.
Gargle after every meal and brush twice daily.
