What Could Extreme Bouts Of Anger In A Type 2 Diabetic Indicate?

hi I have type 2 diabetics and was told this over 2 years now, and was prescribe medication to take three times a day, I also was given a device to check and keep a record of my levels ? I eventually stopped taking the tablets as I felt they were not doing anything for me and felt ok. I asked the nurse after a few visits, could I get rid of T2, which she said I could but i would need to loose a lot of weight to do so. I have been feeling very angry for some time now and my partner I seem to take out on her when we argue, is this related to me having t2 or is there some thing else causing my short temper. Do I need anger management ? Not sure which path to take

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The anger is not related to the diabetes itself unless you are angry at the diagnosis.
Anger is not a symptom of diabetes. It would be best, as you suggested, to see someone regarding anger management.

In terms of the diabetes, it is possible for some persons, with significant weight loss, to reduce their blood sugars.
This should be confirmed by tests at your doctor's office.

I hope this helps
