What Could Extreme Fatigue And Dizziness In A Child Indicate?

My 11 year old son always seems tired. He has had 2 episodes where he gets very dizzy when he has been running. There is a family history of heart issues on my husband s side of the family. One boy died at 9 from an unknown heart condition. Should I have my son tested for heart trouble?
