What Could Feeling Of Passing Out After Being Under The Sun Indicate?
I was at beach today. Sunny 90 plus degrees. When packing u p to walk back, I had extreme and sudden weakness and felt like I might pass out. I was last to leave so I had to carry equipment back to house. When returned, I ate cookies, drank diet coke, water among other things. No longer feel weak and like passing out. But still do not feel 100 percent. I have never had heat stroke or low blood sugar. Could it be one of these or something else?
HELLO, i can understand your concern. it seems like you didn't have sufficient fluids out door which resulted in loss of the electrolytes which resulted in giddiness and feeling of passing out. a bit of hypoglycemia would also have aggravated the situation. once you were back home and sufficiently re hydrated the problem subsided. this clinches the diagnosis. i would suggest instead of drinking plain water kindly add ors (oral re hydrating solution) to it. this is several times beneficial than drinking plain water.
keep yourself hydrated. this should be sufficient. thanks for choosing HCM. feel free to ask further queries.
