What Could Flesh Colored, Hanging Lump On The Outside Ring Of Anus Indicate?

Hi, after having a few bad poops I have noticed a lump on the outside ring of my anus. It doesn t hurt unless i poke at it and when I do it just has mild irritation. I have problems with my stomach frequently. Do you know what this could be? It is flesh colored and hangs a bit.

Welcome to healthcaremagic. What your are describing is a rectal prolapse. This is when the rectum hangs below the anal verge/opening. It happens with constant pushing of bowels especially when someone is constipated. This can be manually reduced/re-inserted into your anus by yourself. If this is not possible and the pain continues you will need to see a doctor as the blood supply to your anal region could be strangulated. Hope this helps. Good luck
