What Could Flu With Sore Head And Eyes Suggest?

Hi, I am writing on behalf of my dad. He sneezed today and felt a popping in the side of his head. Ever since he has had an extremely sore head on the left side, sore eye and sore neck. He is also tired and is shivering. He has had a bad flu for the past 2 weeks. Do you have any suggestions?
