What Could Fluttering Sensation & Dry Discharge In The Navel Be?

hi,I m having intermittent fluttering sensations in the right side area of my navel. I have also had some dried discharge in my navel from time to time, but I didn t think to check the coloration, thinking it was just from sweating. I have been having a low grade fever, which is hard to break. No real pain though,so I m asking for advise before I march to the health provider.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

First, it is important to get checked by a abdominal surgeon. Feeling low grade fever, fluttering sensations in the right side area of your navel and noticing dried discharge in your navel are indicative for possible navel infection or any other intestinal problems.

Further evaluation by surgeon is needed together with further lab tests:
- whole blood work
- abdominal ultrasound
- urine analysis

Hope it helped!
