What Could Frequent Urination With Lower Back Pain Suggest?
hi my urine smells like rubber, i have a sore lower back- both sides, and need to urine frequently and starts to burn towards the end of the stream. my urine also seems to be staining my jocks but my urine colour appears normal what do you think is the problem?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Lower back pain, frequent urination, burning sensation and foul smelling urine is suggestive of urinary tract infection (UTI). You need to get urine examination - routine examination and microscopic examination. Routine urine examination will determine whether infection is present in urine or not. If infection is detected, an urine culture will be required to isolate the causative micro-organism. Urine culture will be followed by antibiotic sensitivity to select most appropriate antibiotic effective against the micro-organism. Thus, I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, prescription of urine examination and treatment thereafter.
