What Could Happen If Knee Is Hurting When Pressurized, Little Swelling 2 Wks After Hurtng It While Skiing?
Hi, Im 16 and never had knee problems ever and I had recently went on vacation to go skiing for the first time. I had fallen this one day and my right leg cramped up and after skiing it was hurting and popping, not popping out but just like a finger crack. After that day I was fine not pain. Its been two weeks and the same knee is now hurting and, yesterday the pain was so bad I felt sick, and now it just hurts to put pressure one it. It doesn t hurt to touch it just when I put any pressure. There is no bruising and its a little bit swelled not that noticeable though. Would you have any ideas what my symptoms could lead up to?
I would recommend you to get the MRI of the knee joint. From your history it looks to me that you are having chondromalacia patalle . It is softening of bone and common in young girls. I would also suggest you to do static quadriceps exercises . Avoid squatting and sitting cross leg.
