What Could Headache, Loss Of Hearing And Nausea Suggest?
Symptoms: Headache (2 days straight)Upper body stiffness Muscle weakness Stuffy & runny nose Dizziness Tenderness in my face Nausea Changes in vision Mild loss of hearing in left 31st Total loss of appitite Constipation And a temp of 93.2°F What is wrong with me?? Should I go to the ER??
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache, loss of hearing and nausea which could be due to Otosclerosis meniere's disease , autoimmune inner ear disease , very loud noise , acoustic neuroma , physical head injury. Well chances of hearing back from ear after sensorineural hearing loss are very less. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , blood test , examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin, anti inflammatory medications. Doctor can recommend you surgery . You should use hearing aid as that is the best treatment possible. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
