What Could Headache Post A Hard Hit On Chin Indicate?
My dog jump up hit my chin hard just now while playing. It s between the chin and my right ear. I didn t lose consciousness but I felt dizzy and headache immediately afterward. And after 10 minutes or so it got better. I put ice pack on the chin and now it s fine, no swelling or bruise at all. But now an hour later, I m laying on the bed and the back of my head hurt still hurt a little (no other discomfort so far). I m worried about an concussion or even brain bleed. Do I have anything to worry about?
It is not likely , based on the description of how the injury occurred that you would have a concussion or brain bleed. A bleed would occur if you have a history of a bleeding disorder or you are currently using anti coagulants.
It is understandable to have pain after injury, this should resolve. If you are still concerned then you should see your doctor for assessment.
I hope this helps
