What Could Heavy Bleeding With Brown Discharge Post Non Penetrative Sex Indicate?

Hi, my boyfriend was fingering me and I began bleeding very heavily. After he stopped there were small amounts of runny red/brown blood being discharged for a couple hours. It has only been a couple hours since the incident , I m concerned bc I don t want to see a doctor.

Hi,

If this was done for the first time, this indicates rupture of hymen and need not be worried about. Bleeding will stop its own in few hours. If bleeding continue beyond 12 hours, it is profuse with clots, or if there is pain, kindly show to an OBGYN. Otherwise, we need not worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
