a little elaboration of the term (heavy breathing ) is needed.
if that means your child snors a lot or sometimes you feel that she might stop breathing for seconds, difficulty in eating also , then adenoids hypertrophy ( enlargement) is highly suspected .
if you feel your child is breathing difficulty or fast , then a more history and physical exam is needed to reach diagnosis
