What Could Hot Flashes, In Mid 70's, Indicate? I Am Taking Norvasc For Hypertension

My mother is 75 years old and is just now experiencing heat in her checks like hot flashes. She did not have any hot flashes when she went through menopause in her early 50's.. She has been taking Norvasc for HBP for the past 15 yrs, She still has her uterus and ovaries. Is she going through menopause now or is this a symptom for something serious.

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears that her ovaries are now stopped producing the estrogen, and that may be the reason, for this heat in her cheeks.
The other causes may be the anxiety, or anger, on some issue.
If they are bearable, there is no problem, but if continues to be there, it is better to consult an endocrinologist.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to compensate the losses, of the harmons and vitamins.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
