What Could It Be If Had A Painless, Bony Bump On The Edge Of The Shoulder Blade And Left Rib Cage Is Longer?
I have a bony bump on the edge of my right shoulder blade. it is the size of a grape and painless. I alsohave noticed that my left rib cage seems to be longer and protrude more than my left. (about 5 inches) I am 37 white female. I have renal tubular acidosis and sever anemia. (Anemia is not b12 and calcium is normal) Had cbc with high platelets. any suggestions?

it may be a bony tumour known as osteochondroma or commonly known as exotosis get a radiograph to diagnose it and and ct scan to confirm with 100 accuracy
but as your blood counts are slightly off charts for normal
get serum calcium , phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase also
for high platelets better tell the value then I can suggest
