Hi I have 2 lumps behind my ear I am a worryer and won't sleep tonight worrying what it is , I was at the Dr last week as my scalp is scabby and dry and they said ibhave syrisise do you think it maybe something to do with that, I feel tired all the time 2 and run down getting married in may so dontbkblw if that's anything to do with it
I can understand your concern for lumps behind the ear with scabs. It appears that the area got secondarily infected.
You should meet your treating doctor to get proper diagnosis. Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem and spread of the infection. This area is quite common to get infected very easily because of sweating and high bacterial proliferation.
I suggest you to go for culture and sensitivity of the wound to know the exact organism causing the infection. For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablets such diclofenac or paracetamol.
