today my 21 year old daughter found a lump in her breast. we saw a doctor and he said it was rather large, long,hard and sharp. he has given a referral for a specialist and ordered a mammogram and ultrasound, can you give me options of what this could be?

Your daughter is too young for a breast disease. Any hard, long and sharp growth could be fibrous or inflammatory but memogram will reveal confirm diagnosis being benign or malignant. So dont take it light and get the memography done as soon as possible.
