What Could Liquid Discharge From Ear With Black Particles Inside The Ear Indicate?
My daughter was having ear pains and when I looked through I found out she had some blocked wax in there, I used cerumol just for a night and dirts came out. After two days, I noticed liquid draining out from the ear. I asked her to lay on dat particular ear which she ddid, in d mrn being today plenty liquid drained out again buh dis time with black particles looking like a loamy soil

Wax is secreted by the glands in the ear canal. It protects the ear from foreign bodies, entry of water, bacterial infection by maintain the acidic environment. Prolonged wax collection may turn them into black colour or dark brown. Usually, ear wax is yellow in colour. Ear wax blockage is the sign of disturbance in the natural clearance of the secretions.
It should be cleaned using baby oil or by consulting the doctor where they clean the canal by irrigation. Black discharge from your child ear might be normal. If the discharge is painful, stained with blood and or foul smelling, consult an ENT specialist. Painful discharge may be due to ear infection either external ear or middle ear. Consult the specialist, if there is hearing disturbance, ringing sound or persistent discharge from the ear.
