What Could Lumbosacral Instability In X-ray Report Suggest?
good day doc, pls help me to understand my x-ray report, The visualized vertebral bodies, pedicles and intervertebral disc space are intact. The normal lumbar lordosis is maintained. The line of weight bearing falls on the sacral promontary. Lippman-Cobb s angle is measured 55 degrees. The remarks is: Lumbosacral instability.
Lumbosacral instability of spine suggests that the spine is liable to dislocate in either direction - anterior or posterior if there is any kind of imbalance. There is chance of dislocation or disc prolapse if there is any kind of pressure on the spine. Stay in touch with your orthopedician for regular check up.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
