What Could Missed Periods Post Treatment For UTI And Unprotected Sex Indicate?

Hello doctor.....I had unprotected sex with my partner One month ago and it was during that period I treated toilet infection with some anibaotics but now I ought to have since my period but no, the feelings am having now is that every morning I feel the pain as if my period what to come but at the end I won t see anything and have try using ACCURATE to test my urine and it negative but still have not see my period....am really bothered.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Delay in periods with negative pregnancy test along with previously treated urinary tract infection could be due to stress (anxiety) or hormonal imbalance.
You need to get the hormone levels in blood checked:
1. FSH
2. LH
3. Prolactin
4. beta-HCG.
First of all it should be confirmed that there is no pregnancy by looking at the beta-HCG levels.
In case beta-HCG level is normal and other hormones are altered, then you can be treated by medication to cause breakthrough bleeding and you would get your periods.
If the hormone levels are normal, then it could be due to stress, and hence you need to wait patiently to get your periods.
