Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We have noticed our five year old daughter gets these nasty, mean moods sometimes in the morning or throughout the day. But after she gets something to eat, her mood swings the other way. Is this a sign of diabetes or something more serious we should worry about? We are trying to focus on giving her a consistent diet, however, getting a five year old to eat when she should is a task in itself.

What Could Mood Swing In Children Suggest?
Hello, Possible causes like ADHD or adjustment disorder must be ruled out. Consult a paediatric psychologist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain
