What Could Movable, Small Cyst Under The Skin On Adam S Apple Indicate?
My 15 year old son found an under the skin moveable irregulary shaped cyst on the right side if his Adam s apple. The dermatologist injected it to reduce it in size and it is now he size and shape of a rice grain and moveable. It causes no discimfort and can only be felt when touched. What could this be?

Hi,
As your son's age(15 years) and your history and description, it could be thyroglossal cyst or dermoid cyst but can be confirmed after clinical examination.
In both of above case,simple excision is the only treatment of choice.
Rarely it can turn into malignancy so,better to remove it by general surgeon.
