What Could Multiple Pus Filled Sores On Buttocks Indicate?

My daughter has had several puss filled sores on her bottom. Each one has been worse than the other. This last one has been very painful needed to be drained several times leaving a small whole. Any idea what this might be and what we need to do for it? She doesn t want to see a doctor because she is so embarrassed. It looks like a pimple or infected hair folical when it first start out.
