What Could Nasal Congestion And Swollen Throat Indicate?
Hello. I have had nasal congestion non-stop for the past three weeks. My throat was swollen for three days at the beginning of the congestion on-set, and is now swollen again; however, I have no other symptoms. I have never had allergies cause a reaction like this, and no allergy medication alleviates my symptoms. Should I go see a doctor for a diagnosis?
I went through the history and it seems you are having nasal congestion and swollen throat. These symptoms indicate upper respiratory tract infection and requires treatment by the use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-cold drugs. Do consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly depending on the underlying cause. Do write back to me for further questions.
Hope this is helpful yo you.
Thank you
