What Could Numb, Red And Irritated Fingertips Indicate?
My wife is experiencing numbness and changes in patterns of fingertip skin. She says it feels like her fingertips have been dipped in hot wax, and small cracks are appearing. They are not open cracks, but they are changing the relief of the patterns in her fingertips. Her fingertips are also red and appear irritated. Can you help please?

I really appreciate your concern, it could be some hypersensitivity reaction and may be some time auto-immune mediated it is self limiting phenomenon, but Hydrocortisone ointment can be tried, with antihistamine "Levocetirizine 10 mg" three times in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
