What Could Numbness In Hand And Fingers Post A Fall Indicate?

i slipped from staircase but no visible injury... after 2 days, in the morning i felt numbness in my right hand and the situation is same for last 5 days.... unabling to write a single word.....doctor performed the test ncv and mri of brain.......reports awaited.....prescribed medicine methycobal,predmet 16 and pan 40.....unable to lift my hand for bye posture....restricted at wrist for upright position and fingers cant be stretched....cant hold and lift anything, even paper or pen also...
