What Could Pain Between Armpit And Breastbone While Breathing Indicate?
I m 56 years old female. I ve got a pain near collarbone, between armpit and breastbone everytime I breath for 2 weeks. I ve seen a doctor and he gave me pain reliever, but it s helped much. The pain would come back if I stopped using the medication. What is that pain? does it relate to any breast problem? what should I do now? Thank you so much.

Chest pain associated with respiration is most likely related to lungs and pleura (lung coverings).
I want to know the presence of any associated respiratory complaints like cough, cold, breathing difficulty, fever.
You should consult your doctor for clinical examination (any superficial tenderness, breast examination) depending on it there may be need for chest xray.
