What Could Pain In Left Arm While Brisk Walking Indicate?
Everytime i take a 30/35 min brisk walk in the morning i experience a pain in my left arm. The pain originates from my elbow. The pain disappears when at rest and i do not feel shortness of breath or any other discomfort while walking. I recently had a full body check up including an ecg that did not through up anything other than vitamin D deficiency and fatty liver. I am 27 years old
The most common cause of elbow pain in my daily practice is inflammation of one or both of the elbow's two tendons. This is called tendinitis, and it is often the result of overuse. It can be examined through a CT scan. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest to avoid overuse which can trigger the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
