What Could Pain In Tooth With A Bubble Like Mass Above The Tooth Indicate?

I have a bubble type mass(hard)above my front tooth like right under my nostril. Hurts when I press on it. I have been to the dentist because I had severe pain and they took xRays and couldn't find any thing wrong but gave me anabiotic's and the pain stopped but now it's bigger and my tooth is kinda lose and hurts when I move it. :(

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns. ..

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms a bump over the gums of front tooth that is painful and leading to loosening of tooth are all signs and symptoms of DENTAL ABSCESS..

In case if it increasing in size also, it can be due to increase in pus formation..

It is possible that the diagnosis is missed in x Ray and you should consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and in case of Dental Abscess Root Canal Treatment of tooth followed by antibiotics and painkillers will help..

But in case if there is no tooth decay then a bubble like bump and loosening of tooth can be due to a PERIODONTAL ABSCESS which is due to chronic infection in gums leading to deepening of infection and formation of an abscess..
In this case Deep Scaling and curettage followed by antibiotics, painkillers and topical anti-microbial ointment can help..

Hope this information helps..
